How do I file for free when it won't let me proceed without Deluxe version costing me more than my Premium Refund?

The software prompts me to upgrade to Deluxe and does not allow me to refuse saying I have Premium Credits available. However, the credits are $17 and the cost to upgrade is $60. Why can't I decline the upgrade? Or undo it, now that I HAD to upgrade in order to figure out how to not upgrade.

In order to cancel the upgrade, you will need to clear the return.

As long as you haven't submitted payment, deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registered, you can erase your return and start from scratch in TurboTax Online.

Sign in and select a topic to continue your return.
On the next screen, from the left-side menu, select Tax Tools, and then Clear & Start Over (select the menu icon in the upper-left corner if you don't see this menu).
