How do I file state only?

I already filed federal return with another company, I need to file only the state return.

    You can't prepare just state.  You need to fill out federal first and when it matches the federal return you filed you can do the state return.  You will need pay for federal and state.  Then say to mail both and just mail state.

     When you use TurboTax the information flows from the federal return to the state return.  You cannot use TT to prepare a "stand alone" state return.  Try going to your state's tax website to see if you can file there.

    So instead of E-file do a print and mail instead but then just choose the state to print out? I think I get it. Will check it out, thank you much.
