Question

How do I fill out a second k-1 if I only need to report $13. of non-passive foreign income?

TT instructs me to fill out a second k-1 form if there are 2 types of foreign income on line 16 of the k-1 form. I have filled in all the required information and have reported my foreign passive income on one form. I need only to report an additional $13. of  income "from other sources" on a second k-1 form. Do I simply fill out the information through line F on the second form and then add the $13 with explanation on line 16?

Thank you.

Yes, you enter the Schedule K-1 just like the first one except that the second K-1 has only the box 16 amount and code for the non-passive income of $13.  Also, check to make sure the information through Line I (India) is also entered, and the appropriate at-risk answer under Line K.
