How do I fill out the 8962, if I claimed my son, but my Ex covered him with Obamacare?

My ex is required to provide health insurance for our son. The one and only time he has he put him on Obamacare with the rest of my ex's family. Now I have to fill out an 8962. I can't understand the

First you have to talk to the ex and get a copy of the 1095-A with the son's name on it  then ask him if he took 100% of the advance tax credit listed on column C.   If he did then when you enter the 1095-A on your return you will indicate that you are taking zero %  and all will be good.
