How do I fix ,When I e-filed my taxes it never asked for my pin given to me from IRS. How do I update it?

I have the pin but it never asked me to input it.

When the IRS rejects your tax file...sometime/any day next week...

You will be able to look for it enter your 6-digit "IP PIN" on the Other Tax Situations page in the Federal section.

Then re-e-file.

(If you e-filed a State with your Federal, that won't go in if the Fed is rejected, so that will need to be re-efiled the second time around)
