Do you mean state tax that you paid on your unemployment, or federal tax that you paid on unemployment benefits that you got from the state?

State taxes were not supposed to be taken out of unemployment. I filed early and I did not get the taxes back I paid in to state unemployment

Again----what state? Some states do tax unemployment. And some do not. What state are you in?
