Are you keeping the first screen open when you go to get the code.
You must keep it open. If you close it, it resets everything, and the
code will be seen as invalid.
Are you using a computer to prepare your return? Keep the first screen open where it asks for the code, and use a second window or a second tab to go get the code.
Another option is to leave the first screen open and retrieve the email by logging into your email with your phone.
Or if you are using a phone or mobile device to access Online TurboTax, use a different device such as a computer to check your email, unless your phone/device browser allows for a second window or second tab.
