How do I get my employers ein number if company is shutdown

If you have received any tax forms from your employer it will have their EIN number on the form.  Sometime the employer may show their EIN as a Federal ID Number this is the same as the EIN.  The format for these numbers is XX-XXXXXXX when you enter the number do not enter the "-" just enter the numbers.
