Hello,

   On the Federal return, there is an option for applying your refund money to next year's taxes.  You'll have to keep a good record of that too.  It comes up towards the end of your step-by-step process. 

  If you're talking about on your state return, maybe you can go to your state's Div. of Rev. website to work it out.
