I worked and paid into an annuity . The company has since changed from consrtruc tion  to real estate and says the money has been distributed . I recently filed a SSI claim and was notified that there was money owed me However i need to show that i paid into the fund in order to dispute this

For a fee you can get a complete copy of a W-2 from the Social Security Administration - https://faq.ssa.gov/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=3836

The IRS only keeps copies of tax returns and W-2's for seven years.  After that those copies are destroyed.
