how do I get past the page wanting me to sign up for live help?

You should be able to decline Live help on the page asking you to add TurboTax LIVE Help.

 

However, if you started in TurboTax Live, you can clear your return and start over as long as you haven’t paid yet. After clearing your return, you can select the TurboTax product that best suits your needs.
