How do I go back to a section to delete a credit I should not beo getting? I accidentally went to the Innovative Motor Vehicle section and it gave me a $2000 credit.

To delete your innovative motor vehicle credit in TurboTax Online: 

1. Open TurboTax Online
2. Select  Tax Home in the left pane
3. On the  Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown on the right side of the State Taxes box, then select Start, Continue, or Pick up where you left off
4. Proceed through the state screens until you come to the Your 2023 Colorado taxes are ready for us to check page.      Select Edit to the right of Credits and taxes
5. Select  Review to the right of Innovative Motor Vehicle Credit
6. Answer  Yes on the Motor Vehicle Tax Credit Assigned to Financing Company? screen

This may not be factually true, but it will prevent you from receiving the credit.  If you simply remove fields later in this portion of the state interview, the problem could persist.  Don't worry - you won't be perjuring yourself -- this answer won't be part of your state return.

If this doesn't work:

1. Open your return in TurboTax
2. Select Continue or Pick up where you left off
3. In the left pane, select the Tax Tools dropdown
4. Select Tools
5. In the pop-up window Tool Center, select Delete a form
6. Scroll down until you see your Colorado return
7. Select Delete next to Form DR 0617 and follow the onscreen instructions
