How do I go back to input the amount of my first stimulas payment? I recieved first payment but my second one hasnt came.

After you have entered your tax information and are ready for the Federal Review, it will be the first question.

If you are trying to trigger it:

go to Other Situations
click Done.
The next question will ask about payments received.

Please don't enter anything about the second stimulus yet. The IRS does not begin processing returns until January 25. The IRS says not to enter second stimulus NOT received before January 15. You may want to wait a few days to do anything.

Murphy's Law is at play... if you don't get the missing stimulus and try to file prior to January 27, a dollar says the stimulus payment will show up the day after you file!!!! Be Patient.

There is no benefit to filing before Jan 27!

The IRS will stop issuing stimulus payments on Jan 15, so by the 27th the mail will clear of any checks in transit.

@AmyC - why do you say Jan 15 - that is the day the last payment goes out, but there is mail time to consider!!!!
