How do I key in gas and oil lease payment from 1099-misc box 1?

You need to enter that as Royalty Income.

 

Go to the "Federal" section of TurboTax, then "Income and Expenses", then "Rentals, Royalties and Farm" and then "Rental Properties and Royalties."
