How do I know how much real estate tax I paid?

I have a 1098 from my mortgage lender. In box 10 it has what looks like it could be the property tax amount they paid out of escrow. But it's labeled as "other." Is this where I find the amount of property tax I paid?

If you are not sure how to interpret your 1098, ask the lender. They should be able to tell you how much they paid for property tax from your escrow account. Sometimes they combine amounts for property tax and homeowner insurance from escrow---so you want to be sure of the amount you are using.
