Estimated tax payments are quarterly tax payments that you would have mailed to the IRS or state taxing authority during the year. If you did not make any payments during the tax year, then you do not have estimated payments to enter on your tax return. If you would like to see if you have set up estimated tax payments for 2020, then follow the directions below:

  1. Log in and open your return (unless already open) 
  2. Click the Federal tab on the left side of the screen
  3. Click the Other Tax Situations tab at the top of the page
  4. Scroll down and click show more beside Other Tax Forms
  5. Click Revisit or Start Form W-4 and other Estimated Taxes

If you would like to view or enter 2019 estimated tax payments, then click Deductions & Credits in step three above, scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid, and click start beside Estimated Tax Payments.
