The refund tracker will allow you to follow your refund amounts as you complete your return. The tool is dynamic and may change with each click and entry. The amount of your refund is finalized when you file your return. A summary screen will appear showing you the combined totals between Federal and State.

 

You can see the individual amounts for each as you file, and they are reported on the documents. Be sure to review the PDF's. Your Federal refund will show on line 20 of Form 1040.
