How do I log a reproducible bug in Turbo Tax Online

There is a bug in the online Turbo Tax software for the Form 8938.

I am able to reproduce it easily.

Simply create a continuation/copy page of the Form 8938 and enter it ONLY for other foreign assets.

Fill in the information and fill in the section for a foreign address (address, city, province/state, postal/zip).

Go next and save.

Return to edit the page.

Select to enter for other foreign asset (which was filled in).

The postal code and province will be gone.

How can I get this logged and fixed by Turbo Tax so that the online software doesn't have this bug and I can complete my taxes?

We have tested this experience and are unable to reproduce the outcome you have seen. It's possible this is browser-related. Please log out of TurboTax and do the following:

Refresh your browser and clear out your cookies. If that does not work, try clearing out your browser's cache.

Hi,

I cleared all my cache and cookies and still get the error.

I also tried on IE, Edge and Chrome, and all get the same issue.

Please note that in my case I have 15 copies of the Form 8938 due to a large number of 'other foreign assets'.

My copies 6 through 15 only have the 'other foreign assets' filled in, there are no 'foreign accounts' so section 1 of the form is blank.

I can enter and save all my data.

However when I go back to edit a copy/page and select that I want to enter for an 'other foreign asset', the data for Postal and Province is lost.

To get around this I have entered the City, Postal and Province data all in the city data entry cell.

Is this a valid workaround or will my submission when I efile get rejected?

Essentially is the worksheet data (that you are using to grab city, province, postal) required?

I see the data correct on the Form 8938 since I entered everything in that 1 cell.

It should work since those cells aren't necessary for the filing.
