Question

How do I move past a screen that offers me two options, neither of which is correct?

The screen asks whether a distribution is from a 403(b) plan or another qualified plan--and it is neither.

    When you initially enter information from a Form 1099-R, the follow-up screen asks you to choose either Qualified or Non-Qualified plan, if you did not indicate that the distribution was from an IRA. See screenshot below:

     

     

    If your distribution was from an IRA, go back to the previous screen and check the IRA box.
