Question

How do I notate my dependents form 1095-A? I have form 1095-C, but it says I do not enter it.

Did you receive a 1095-A? Or did you receive a 1095-C? There is a difference on how these 2 forms are treated by the IRS.  If you have a 1095-A, then yes, it has to be reported (and, if I remember correctly, your dependents should autopopulate into the form.). If you have only 1095-C forms, take a breath, smile, and just file those away with the rest of your 2024 tax documentation stuff. Nothing has to be reported about the 1095-C forms. I hope that helps!

If you mean your dependent has a Form 1095-A but you have a Form 1099-C, you would not file either of those on your tax return. Your dependent would file the Form 1095-A on their tax return.
