Did you have dividends reported on a K-1 form by chance you forgot about ?  They are added to the dividends you entered from a 1099-DIV.

Ordinary dividends or Qualified Dividends?

What was reported on the Form 1099-DIV you received?

What is shown on your Form 1040 Lines 3a and 3b?

Look at your Form 1040 -

Click on Tax Tools

Click on Tools

Click on View Tax Summary

Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen

To report dividend income received -

Enter dividend income in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to dividend income

On the screen Did you receive any dividend income? select Yes

Continue on the next screen

On the screen Let's import your tax info select Change how I enter my form

On the screen How do you want to enter your 1099‑DIV? select Type it in myself

You have to recheck everything to find out where that difference comes from.

Do not use override.
