How do I pay the health insurance penalty?
I filled my taxes but how do I know I paid for the health insurance penalty?
If you were penalized for not having health insurance, that penalty is already factored into your refund/amount owed on your tax return. You won't pay it separately.
You'll see the penalty on line 61 of the 1040, line 38 of the 1040A, or line 11 of the 1040-EZ.
