How do I pick 2019 adjusted gross income for the EIC? It just keeps telling me I am ineligible, but I know that 2019 income would allow it?

When you go through the EIC section in the program, there is the first question asks you that.  Here are the steps:

In TurboTax online,

• Sign in to your account and select Pick up where you left off
• From the upper right menu, select Search and type in eic and Enter
• Select the Jump to eic
• Follow prompts
• Next screen, " Do you want to use last year's earned income?" select Yes to expand to enter 2019 info

If your 2019 earned income ( including non-taxable combat pay) is greater than 2020 earned income, you may benefit from recalculating your earned income credit using your 2019 earned income. To see if you even qualify for EIC, click here: Earned Income Credit
