Question

How do I prove purchase of a state to TurboTax?

I'm moving from a PC to a iMac. I'm trying to load my 2015 data, so I can import it to 2016. TurboTax refuses to load my 2015 because it says I need to purchase the Missouri tax program - which I did purchase in 2015. It recognizes that I own the Virginia tax program, so how do I get pass this issue?

Load into which product??  What are you doing when you get that error?  Did you install the 2015 program on the Mac computer and trying to open your *.tax2015 data file in the 2015 program?    Or do you get that error when you try to transfer the 2015 data file into a new return in the 2016 Mac software?

You'll need to phone TurboTax Customer Support on Monday and ask them to push the state program to you or otherwise help you resolve this issue.

Use the form at the link below to be assigned a phone number.  There's no need to do it before Monday, since it will produce no phone number when they are closed.

@drumdenn

The above answer has been revised.
Even if the 2015 MO state program were to be in your download account, it would be for the Windows version.

Since you are changing platforms (Windows to Mac), please phone TurboTax Support on Monday and let them help you with this issue.   Use the link above to get a phone number.
