How do I remove a nonresident return? It's telling me I don't have to file Florida, but will not allow me to move on and finish the process. I'm in a loop.

It says I can skip Florida but when I try to remove it outright (using the trash can icon) it won't do it. I try to move on and just do my NJ returns, but it loops me right back to the initial type of return page.

Yes! The goal was to file the form you need and you did. Well done!

You can mark paper file for the FL return to get to the efile part.

If you are using desktop,  and the program used that for your free state, you can  contact support and ask about a refund for purchasing another state. FL does not have a regular state tax but does have a tax form needed by a few.

You can answer a few FL questions for the program to know it isn't needed. That should let you pass.

Thanks for answering, Amy.

I straight up just went past it and filed only the other state. Nothing seems to be wrong.

Every other attempt at getting the Florida tax off my screen failed, and I was caught in that endless loop, so just filing NJ's return as it was worked fine -- Is this okay?
