How do I remove my EX-Spouse from my turbo tax filing so I can file as single?

We were separated in December of 2023 (she moved out of state) and our divorce was final in December of 2024. When I log into TurboTax she still appear. My W2 clearly reads filing as single but she is still attached as my spouse in TurboTax. How do I remove her from my profile so I can file as single.

Since you will no longer be filing as Married you will need to create a new account with a new User ID to file as Single.

And...while you are at it in that OLD account, download all the prior years of PDF Files onto your own computer...and back them up on a USB Flash drive. Some year in the future you will lose your access to that old account.....and have no idea of what was in those old tax forms...unless you back them up NOW.

They only go back ~ 7 years...and the oldest year gets dropped every year.
