How do I report Company Paid Fees on my 1099-DIV? thanks.

What fees did the company pay?

Thanks.  It just says Company Paid Fees c/o Computershare.  So I'm guessing company paid for transaction fees?

Please clarify your question.  Does box 1a show dividends with or without the fees?

Thanks.  1a shows Total ordinary dividends.   I guess it may already be included since there is a note that says "The reportable amounts above include the following additional income:"  referencing the Company Paid fees.

In that case, you would report the full amount as it appears in box 1a.
