You should report the interest income that you received even though you didn't receive a Form 1099 from the person/LLC paying the interest. You do not need the Taxpayer ID info to do so.

Follow these steps to enter your interest income in TurboTax online:

  • Sign In to TurboTax Online
  • Click "Take Me to my Return"
  • Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
  • Scroll down and click "Edit/Add" next to "Interest on 1099-INT"
  • Click "I'll Type it Myself"
  • Click "Add Interest Income"
  • Enter the Payer of the interest and enter the amount in Box 1
  • Click "Continue" and walk through the questions
