In the 1099-INT entry section ... slow down and read the screens ... it is hidden in plain sight ...

I know what the form shows my question was reporting it on turbo tax form which asks for states from which the income came. this income is from munipalities and does not show states. some of these index funds have over 1000 different sources.

Ok so you mean tax exempt interest DIVIDENDS ... choose the best option for your situation.
