How do I save my tax filing in the .tax2022 format?

Had great difficulty this year uploading data from 2021 filing and want .tax2022 format available, not just .pdf

If using online, you will have access next year. Please follow the instructions here to access a prior year return. @Dewer

Please check your TT saved (Used while working on forms) folder. That date first format works with software. PDF, of course, does not. Hope this helps.

.tax2022 should be automatic.

I found .tax2022 file but on the screen looks like a blank white page. Is that the way it is supposed to look? How do I open it? I have no trouble getting to my taxes on the web right now but will I be able to get to them next filing season? This year the experience of getting to my 2021 taxes was horrific!!!!
