if you e-filed, wait for acceptance or rejection notice. if rejected, you can add them. if accepted, you're out of luck. you will now have to wait until your return is fully processed - payment cashed or refund received, then you will have to file an amended return. this can not be e-filed. if you have a state return that also will have to be amended and mailed.
