How do I transfer my 2019 Lacerte tax data to use with 2020 Turbotax? I was a paid preparer and had direct access to the Lacerte program

You cannot transfer the 2019 Lacerte tax data file to a 2020 TurboTax personal edition return.

Can you transfer Lacerte data to any available turbotax versions? Will this be available to transfer 2020 Lacerte data for 2021? I was hoping to transfer from Lacerte to the CD/download version, as I am retired on disability but still have family returns to prepare. (including depreciation information)

Sorry but you cannot move info from a professional program to a DIY personal tax program so you will need to either purchase a professional program and sign up as an ERO or resign yourself to type in all the needed prior year info if you are going to do free returns for family members. I highly recommend you purchase one of the Downloaded versions ... Deluxe will work for everything ( Basic if you have no state returns to file).
