If you are using the Online product, you don't need to do anything. The Online products are updated automatically.

 

If you are using the CD/download product under Windows, when you open TurboTax from a closed state, TurboTax automatically checks for updates and asks you if you want to update before starting. Otherwise, go up to "Online" at the top, click on it and then click on "Check for Updates".

 

If you are using the CD/download product on a Mac, if the instructions for Windows don't work for you, please come back and let us know.

Please let us know if, after the update, you were able to e-file your return, or if you got an error message along with your state return being rejected.
