How do I upload a copy of my W2 in a PNG File to the TT web site form?

You can upload your W-2 if you saved it on your computer.  Follow the steps below.

1. Sign in to your TurboTax account, or open your return in the software.
2. Select  Wages & Income.
3. To the right of Job (W-2), select Edit/ Add.
4. Select Add new W-2.
5. Leave box b blank and select Continue.
6. Select Upload it from your computer, and follow the on-screen directions to complete the upload.

If you have an iPhone using iOS 14 or higher or an Android 8 or higher, you can take a picture of your W-2.Follow the steps  below to take a picture of your W-2 in TurboTax Online:

1. Open  TurboTax
2. Select Wages & Income and select start or Revisit next to Wages and Salaries
3. Enter the employer ID from your W-2
4. On the How would you like to add your W-2? Screen, select Snap a photo with your phone
5. Open the camera on your phone, hold it over the QR code, and tap the link
6. Take a picture of your W-2.
