How do if fix the error : Hidden Fed to State: Employer name has too many characters on my state return?

Edit the W-2 you entered. On the employer name just enter the first four or five characters of the name.

The IRS only checks the Employer EIN and the first few characters of the name to verify the W-2 is correct.
