Question

How do the 1095-A percentages work if I shared the policy with my parent while I was their dependent?

Our coverage was mistakenly renewed for the month of January on 01/01/24 and then terminated on 01/02/24. I am unsure of how to proceed with inputting the premium, SLCSP, and Advanced Payment of PTC percentages because it is not one of the options listed. Do any of those situations apply here as well?

Review this article to see how to best report your family's 1095-A.  I'm on my parents' 1095-A form. What do I do on my return?    Who is the 1095-A issued to and are you a dependent on a parent's return?    When you share a policy, you can divide the amounts however you all decide, but it has to total 100% between the applicable returns.   You or your parent can claim 100% or you can divide it.
