You can always determine the amount you owe or the amount of your refund by looking at the top of your screen after you sign into TurboTax. 

 

At the very top of your screen, TurboTax will show either "Federal Refund" and an amount in green or "Federal Tax Due" and an amount in red.

 

Note: As you enter additional information, the amount of your refund (or tax due) will continue to change. It is best to wait until you have entered all of your information before determining if you are getting a refund or have a balance due on your tax return.
