Question

How do you stop being prompted to import 1099DIV and 1099INT on EVERY single 1099? The old interface had the option of turning this off when you had said no four times.?

You can’t.  Everyone is complaining.   Too many clicks to enter interest, dividends and investments.   Hope they go back to the old way next year.

Yes, you will need to click on 'Skip Import' (or 'Type it in Myself' in TurboTax Online) each time to enter a new 1099 manually.

Remember that if you have several from the same institution, you can enter the totals in one entry.

We at Intuit TurboTax want our users to be completely delighted with their experience using our products and services, and successful in their financial lives and businesses.

Once you file your return, as long as the settings to receive communication from Intuit don’t block it, you will see a pop-up message or receive an email with a survey asking you about your experience. We encourage you to leave your notes and comments there. “Voice of the Customer” notes and comments are read and acted upon.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can also leave feedback at the Final Steps tab:

I am using a Windows workstation. This new interface has removed helpful features of the old interface AND has made TurboTax more inefficient/cumbersome/difficult/non ADA compliant (scrolling, scrolling, scrolling). Now REALLY hard for the visually impaired. Too much confusing white space. Icons difficult to read/tiny font. Difficult to read across a page.

I don't want Turbotax to know who/where I log into with financial institutions. Yet another source of data breach.
