Question

How do you transfer info from Turbo Tax Advanced to Turbo Tax Basic? I completed Advanced, then realized I could get by with Basic, so bought Basic?

Please explain. There is no Advanced. Are you asking about the Desktop CD/Download program? If you have a .tax2019 file you can open it in any Desktop program. But you are posting from the Online Premier version.

Or do you want to Transfer from 2018? Do you have the .tax2018 file on your computer?

I meant Premier, not Advanced. All of my 2019 data was -put into Turbo Tax Premier, then I decided I could get by with Turbo Tax Basic, so I bought it. Now I can't find a way to transfer my data from Premier to Basic.

Sorry to hear you bought "Basic" desktop software...it does not include a state download, but if you don't need a state, its ..eehhh...OK software You can buy a state software set from within the program if you need one.

(The higher desktop versions with a free state download are far better, but you have to be careful when buying desktop Deluxe, since it comes in a cheap flavor without a state download, and another flavor with the state download)
