How does ADP work with getting your W2? My employer is using ADP this year am I waitng for ADP to report my W2 or does my job have a say on when ADP does?

Does ADP do all the work for my employer when it comes to reporting w2's and sending them out or online or does my employer get all the info back from ADP then they post w2's?

ADP handles a great deal of the payroll in the US. Depending on the level of service chosen and the size of your employer, W-2s will be available at different times throughout the month of January. However, in general, they are very quick to process them and most have their W-2s available online considerable before the paper copies arrive in the mail.

In general, your employer can update you on the progress but normally can do little to expedite it.

All my employer has told me is that it will be there by the end of the month January 31st which is the standard answer because that's the last day they have to by law to send them out How ever many of my other friends at other places that use ADP got there's a week ago and like mine, they are big corporations.
