You will have to provide the IRS your direct deposit information since you have not filed a 2019 tax return with a tax refund.

Go to this IRS website for stimulus payment information FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payment-information-center

Use this IRS website for stimulus payment status or to update your bank account - https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment

Can you please provide exact link in IRS where to update my direct debit bank information? Keep in mind I owed tax for 2018 to IRS and IRS collected the money from me through my bank account.

as long as you filed your 2018, you should be in the queue.

Check the IRS website and update your bank information if necessary.

AGI is line 7 on your 2018 return and line 8B on your 2019 return.  Refund is line 21a of the 2019 tax return. and line 20a for 2018

Thanks for the reply. How IRS will send the payment to me?

@rvrnkumar_363 -  this link will explain how the payment would come.  they will not garnish the stimulus (other than for child support)
