How many returns can I file using TurboTax Premier 2024

Using the TurboTax desktop editions installed on a personal computer you can start, complete and file as many tax returns as needed.

Note that you receive 5 free federal tax return e-files with the desktop editions.  Once the 5 federal e-files have been used all other tax return can only be printed and mailed.

Premier is the Desktop download program you install.  It can do unlimited returns and efile 5, the rest you can print and mail.   You get 1 free state PROGRAM download to prepare unlimited state return.  Then each state return is $25 to efile or you can print and mail state for free.  

With desktop download software you can prepare and e-file up to five federal returns with their associated state returns.   If you need to file more than five returns you can file the others by mail.   The five federal e-file limit is an IRS limit.
