Question

How much does an in-app state download cost?

I would like to understand my cost to PURCHASE (not e-file) a state return.  I can't find it anywhere on the intuit site, or in this community.  Questions I hope to be able to answer:

  1. What is the cost of a single state return? (If I purchase a product that does not have "State" bundled in.)
  2. Does the cost of a State download decrease on the 2nd state if I need to do my taxes in 2 states?

    Yes, you can find the details of state pricing for Desktop, here. Be sure to scroll down as the download cost is near the bottom of the page.
