@syrle33- hard to say as it depends on the complexity of your income tax situation.

but let's start with simple returns: all I have is a few W-2 wages, a few children (so I am eligible for child tax credits), I am also eligible for EITC.

in a mid-size city in America, I wouldn't be surprised if that costs $200 - $400 at a tax service.
