Question

How to check if taxes for 2019 filed at h&r block were done right. Could I use turbotax to make changes if needed.

You would be able to enter your W-2's, 1099's, etc into TurboTax either before or after having a paid preparer electronically file you tax return.

 

Make sure that you keep copies of all of your paperwork should the paid preparer not provide copies to you.

 

You would be able to prepare an amended tax return using TurboTax but, first, you would have to arrive at exactly the same result as is on the paid preparer's tax return.  Then amend from that point to the correct answer.
