How to correct an error in Fed. Income tax withheld from review of the return before filing?

Do you know which section this income tax withholding pertains to?  To edit information, you would need to return to that section through the step-by-step interview process o change the information. 

 

For example, if this is from a Form 1099-R, then you would re-visit the retirement section by following these steps:

 

  • Sign in to your TurboTax account and select Pick up where you left off
  • At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in "1099r" and Enter
  • Select Jump to 1099r
  • Follow prompts
