used solution but did not correct problem

This is a spontaneous connectivity issue that usually resolves itself if your connection to TurboTax remains intact while the process you are working on completes.

If the issue doesn't resolve on its own, close TurboTax, restart your computer, and reopen TurboTax.

If that does not solve your problem, consider some other things you can try:

  1. Reset your wireless access point and try logging in again
  2. Turn off your computer, your router, and your cable modem, in that order
  3. Wait a minute, then turn your modem back on
  4. Wait another minute, then turn your router back on
  5. Once your router is back up, turn your computer back on and try logging in again

If none of these things resolve your problem, you can also contact TurboTax customer support at https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/

Your Windows user name must exactly match the one you used previous years even if you have a new computer. Example: last year when you used TT you were "Jeff" but new computer lists you as "Jeff Smith" and TT will give you error code 70001. Create a new Windows user account with administrative privileges and use that when you log in to TT.

I have same problem and I don't even know what you are referring to to do it.

Is anyone having issues with Windows 10 HOME? That's what I have, and I am slowing coming to the realization that I simply cannot do my taxes on TT again.

I am running Windows 10 with Microsoft Office 365 installed.  I changed my desktop login from the administrator login to a local user login that I created.  Removed this error.
