How to file for refund of estimated tax withholding for home sale in NJ?

You need to enter your estimated taxes in the Deductions and Credits section of TurboTax, which is in the Federal tax area. Find the Estimates and Other Taxes paid menu option, then choose Estimates. In that section you will see on option to enter estimated state taxes paid. When you complete your New Jersey tax return the estimated taxes will be credited from your state tax.
