I coached hockey for a Houston Hockey team. I made a good amount of money, but they said they do not use W2's. How would I file that I made money through them, if possible?

Did they mention issuing a 1099-Misc?

If you were an employee, you should have received a W2.

Sound like  your organization considered you an independent contractor providing coaching service, thus a self-employed person that reports income and expenses on Schedule C as sole proprietor.

You can take legitimate expenses such as mileage to out of town games, cost of any clinics or certification credentials, coaching supplies (clip board, whistle, stop watch, etc) ordinary and necessary in performing you duties as a coach.
