How to fill 2019 Federal Form 1040 Information Smart Worksheet for Non-Resident Alien

Hi, I was a non-resident alien who filed 1040-NR last year (2019) as "Married nonresident alien" status.

In my 1040-NR Schedule A Line 1b, I had $5000 due the filing status "box 5. Married non resident alient" checked, I guess that's what I should use as "Itemized Deduction" for this year.

But something I'm really confused is, in that worksheet there's a question E, "What was your filing status for 2019?" and the only options are: Single/MFJ/MFS/MFS+Spouse Itemized Deductions/Head of household/Qualifying Widow(er). There no "Nonresident" at all.

I did received 1099-G from my State and I don't want all my state refunds get taxed. By not choosing anyone Turbotax is highlighting the error, and considering my 2019 state tax as "partially taxable", the answer is different if I choose any from above.

Which one should I choose or how to move forward with this?

Actually non-resident is not a filing status, it is resident status. If you filed married in 2019, you would choose MFJ even though you filed as a non-resident.
